Before Gdańsk, there was the first click.

From 17 to 22 May, Gdańsk will become the stage for a special meeting of Polish and German students.

For us, this is a valuable chance to move language learning into real life: to practise English and German in natural situations, to build confidence, and to experience intercultural openness in the most direct way — through people, conversations and shared work.

Today’s online meeting, “Beyond Borders – The First Click”, showed that our students are ready for this challenge.

We broke the ice. The energy during the presentations, the first reactions and the first smiles made it clear that this group can cross barriers before the journey even begins.

Thanks to the interactive Mentimeter activity, we already know that we are moving in the same direction: towards new friendships, shared memories and stronger communication.

And the integration has not stopped with the online meeting. On a dedicated Padlet, students from both countries are already talking, sharing their passions and getting to know one another step by step.

This first virtual meeting gave the whole project a strong foundation.

So when we meet in Gdańsk in May, we will not be starting as strangers. We will arrive as a group that has already made its first connection.

Beyond Borders has started with one click. Now Gdańsk is waiting.
